For all of their history the Royal Marines have served at sea. They've been sharp shooters, gunners and policemen on board the Navy’s ships. Try your hand at the tasks they performed to see if you are up for sea service!

Explosive fun for everyone!
15th August - 11am to 4.30pm
How do firearms work? With the aid of demonstrations, explosions and a few things flying through the air you can find out for yourself! With special guests The Fort Cumberland Guard adding their own explosive charm to the day, the event will be unmissable!

 

Griff - Thinker, Painter, Forger, Spy?
Our new Special Exhibition is now open!

Griff - a caricature by Flying Officer Robert M Buckham RCAFGuy 'Griff' Griffiths - a Royal Marine pilot - bombed U-boats, forged documents for The Great Escape, provided information to British Intelligence and more - whilst also producing breathtaking artwork and endearing comical illustrations.
