Opening Times

Royal Marines Museum Opening Times:

Summer opening:  April  October everyday from 10.00am to 5.00pm

Winter opening:  November – March from 10.00am to 5.00pm Closed Mondays & Tuesdays except for Hampshire school holidays and half terms

The Quartermaster’s Kitchen Cafe  remains open throughout the year

Open all bank holidays. Closed 24/25/26 December

Disabled £7.00 – with free admission for one Assistant

Family Ticket £22.00 – for two adults and up to two children

Family Ticket £13.00 – for one adults and up to two children

Annual Pass

If you are a UK tax payer become a Gift Aid visitor and receive free entry to the Museum for a year from the date of your visit. Fill out a Gift Aid form on arrival at the Museum.

Includes school holiday activities but excludes special events.

Accessibility

The Museum is fully wheelchair accessible and has facilities for visually-impaired visitors.

Car

 From London

Take either the A3(M), M3 from Winchester, M27 from Southampton or A27 from Chichester.

From the West

Take junction 12 of the M27 onto the A27, then the A288.

From the East

Take the A2030 junction off the A27, turning south on the A288.
Follow the ‘Seafront’ signs and the brown information signs to the Royal Marines Museum which is situated at the eastern end of Southsea.
The Royal Marines Museum is accessible by public transport, with the nearest bus stop being a 15-20 minute walk from the Museum.

Situated in the heart of the Museum, QMK_carouselthe Quartermaster's Kitchen is the ideal venue for a drink, snack or meal - be it a cold winter's day or a glorious summer afternoon.
With seating for up to 60 visitors, plus additional seating outside during the summer months,
the Quartermaster's Kitchen is a delightful place to unwind and enjoy good food.

Open every day 10am - 5pm. Closed over Christmas.
