All May
Museums & Galleries Month is a nationwide experience for everyone to enjoy; See for yourself what you can learn from the Museums around you, and have great fun doing so!

Museums at Night
See the Museum in an all new light...
16th May, 6pm to 9.30pm
See what the Museum can offer all you night owls at this FREE event! With fun family activities throughout the Museum, the event will ig-night your senses! A Magic Lantern Show (£5 per person) will also be on offer to excite and captivate!
Fort Cumberland Guard
Royal Marines - 19th Century Style!
18th May, 1.30 - 4.30pm
With period Victorian outfits, musketry & cannon firing, drill routines and more, the Fort Cumberland Guard will bring the history of the Royal Marines vividly to life in their own breathtaking style!

As part of the Museum's 50th anniversary celebrations, and culminating on the Amateur Radio Weekend on the 14th & 15th of June, the Museum has its own Amateur Radio Station live for a month! Kindly run by the Horndean & District Amateur Radio Club, and FREE to visit, why not pop along & see them?
RMA Concert Band
Fine music in a fine setting
22nd May, 7.30pm, £10 per person
Experience the majesty, splendour and brilliance of the Royal Marines Association Concert Band, playing music to rouse your spirit and please your ears!

Commando Tech
Hands-on family activities
27th-29th May
The Royal Marine is often reliant on the equipment in his rucksack; it can mark the difference between success and failure. Come and find out about some of their gear and see if you can use it to solve problems in the field.... Have some half-term fun!

A chance to learn and appreciate
