Enjoy the majesty and spectacle of the Band of HM Royal Marines Portsmouth playing in the grounds of the Museum. Without compare, their music will captivate and invigorate you. Best of all, the event is absolutely FREE to attend!

How do firearms work? With the aid of demonstrations, explosions and a few things flying through the air you can find out for yourself! With a wealth of activities on offer, there's something for everyone -you may also have the chance to build and test your own firearm...

Heritage Open Days celebrates England's architecture and culture by allowing visitors free access to interesting properties that are not usually open: With guided tours of the normally-closed Eastney Fort East at 11.30am each day (weather permitting; limited spaces), this is not to be missed!
